"It's an original..." came the hushed whisper as we stood before the painting. I looked at it knowing that because it was an original, it was extremely valuable. It didn't matter that I couldn't make out what the artist was thinking...or if it was actually hanging the right way up. It was an original. There was not another like it in the world. Oh sure, perhaps somebody owned a copy, somewhere, but the copy didn't (nor would it ever) carry the same value as the original.
It's amazing that we will understand the tremendous value of an "Original" yet we as people often strive to be a copy of someone else.
We are manipulated by the media, fashion, opinions (the list can go on and on) to conform to a certain pattern. Uniformity. Manipulated thought processes. Often not understanding how amazingly unique WE are!
Look at yourself, there is not another person like you upon this earth. Of all the billions of people that have come to live upon this planet that we call Earth, there is not another person with the same fingerprint as you! Unique!
You were born for a reason, with gifts and talents that this world needs.
God created you personally and thinks highly of you.
